1. About the service

ArtKiddo is a mobile application and web service built by bencool.ca, designed for parents and legal guardians (18 years and older) to photograph, keep, and organize drawings and voice stories created by their children.

2. On-device operation and free access

By default, the application runs entirely on your device, with no account required and no advertising. The local version on your device is free forever. No drawing or personal data is sent to our servers without your explicit, prior consent.

3. Parent account and backup

Creating an optional parent account (using a valid email address and secure password) enables cloud backup of your artworks and shared household synchronization between parents via a secure invitation code. By creating an account, you agree that ArtKiddo may send you service communications, product updates, and commercial or promotional emails, with the option to unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

4. Family sharing and web links

Parents can generate private web links allowing family members (grandparents, relatives) to view a child's gallery in read-only mode from their browser, without creating an account or installing an app. Children's voice recordings are excluded by default from these web links and are only shared upon your explicit action. You remain solely responsible for who you share these links with, and you can revoke any link at any time from the app.

5. Content ownership and minor protection

Photos of drawings, audio voice stories, and associated details remain the exclusive property of your family. ArtKiddo is built with strict respect for the privacy and rights of minors. No child data is sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for targeted advertising.

6. Termination and account deletion

You can stop using the service and delete your account and all online data at any time, directly inside the app (Settings → Account → "Delete my account and data") or by email at [email protected].
